Data protection and security in information technology
Etc.

How do I submit a tip?

We are grateful for tips that report misconduct, uncover gaps and help us move forward. For optimal processing, the note should be as specific and understandable as possible.

It is possible to submit a report via our online reporting system and offers the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected and employees who are involved in clarifying the violation. Those affected are presumed innocent until the violation is proven. The various reporting channels are confidential and data protection compliant.

Reports can be submitted in German and English on the internet-based reporting platform. There is the option for anonymous reports. A password-protected and personal mailbox allows whistleblowers to assist in processing the complaint and be informed about the progress of the complaint.

What happens to my note?

After receiving the notification, you will receive a confirmation of receipt within seven days. The Compliance Office then checks the report to see whether the suspicion is justified. At this stage, both those affected and those who provide information can be consulted if there is a need for clarification. In the event of a rejection, the person providing the information will receive feedback with reasons. If the suspicion is confirmed, appropriate measures will be discussed, initiated and followed up. This is done in collaboration with everyone involved and, if necessary, in exchange with the person who provided the information (if possible). The results are usually communicated to the person providing the information within three months.
